Who we are

WhiskyWallet is a non custodial wallet for the Salvium network, published by WhiskyMine. This policy covers the WhiskyWallet app on Android, Windows, and Linux.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no registration, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. We run no server that receives your personal data, your keys, or your transaction history.

What stays on your device

• Your wallet keys and seed are generated on your device and stored there encrypted. They never leave it. Unlocking uses your pin or a hardware security key.
• Your transaction history and balances are computed on your device from the public chain.
• The in app debug log is local, visible to you in the app, and never transmitted.
• Deleting the app deletes its local data. Your funds remain recoverable anywhere from your seed.

Network connections the app makes

• Salvium nodes. The app syncs and broadcasts through public seed nodes or nodes you configure. Like any internet connection, a node you use can see your ip address. Salvium transactions are private by design. Run your own node for maximum privacy.
• Update check. On launch the app asks our public release listing whether a newer version exists. This is an ordinary https request carrying no identifiers.
• Mining (optional). If you start the built in miner, it connects to the pool or node you configure, which sees your ip and the payout address you set.

Device permissions

• Camera, only to scan qr codes. Frames are processed on the device and never stored or uploaded.
• nfc and usb, only to talk to your hardware security key. That conversation stays on the device.
• Unrestricted battery (optional), only so a sync can finish while the app is in the background.

Third parties

If you install from Google Play, Google collects install and crash statistics under its own policies; that data flows to Google, not to us. Node and pool operators you choose to connect to are independent of us.

Children

WhiskyWallet is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears at this address with an updated effective date.
